Reviews

"These two extraordinary ladies have been so supportive of my family as a neurodivergent household. The dyslexia support for my eldest has really helped her develop confidence in her spelling and given her some unique techniques. They are amazingly compassionate and kind, and I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again."

About Dyslexia

The British Dyslexia Association (BDA) explains that dyslexia is a specific learning difficulty that mainly impacts reading and writing. But it’s important to know that dyslexia goes beyond just these skills. It’s really about how the brain processes information. Children with dyslexia might find it challenging to process and remember what they see and hear, which can influence their learning and literacy development. It can also affect other areas, like staying organised.

However, there are also many positives to thinking differently. Many people with dyslexia excel in areas like problem-solving, visual arts, and creativity.

This video, produced by the BDA, is a useful tool to help understand dyslexia a little better.
